Description
The most difficult tasks in wartime conditions are transportation of vital medical equipment to the places of where it will be used. Such equipment as resuscitation, diagnostic, therapeutic – is necessary not only for the wounded, but also for patients with severe chronic diseases. In wartime, the usual supplies of this kind of equipment are disrupted. The situation is aggravated by the road conditions, infrastructure, and difficulties with fuel.
In cooperation with WHO, the “KARA BĒRNI” Foundation delivers to the locations of usage:

- X-rays;
- Computer and magnetic resonance tomographs;
- Infusion equipment;
- Monitors;
- Anesthesia-respiratory apparatus;
- Surgical tables;
- Electrocoagulators.
