TESK and IEHK first aid kits are critical in a war environment.
TESK are kits for emergency traumatology. They are used to saving lives and limbs in severe wounds. These tools can be used in various conditions, including the most difficult ones.
TESK kits include:
- medicines, including morphine, antibiotics, and tetanus toxoids;
- disinfectants and gloves;
- anesthetics;
- bandages, materials for applying plaster and splints;
- basic and specialized surgical instruments for various types of operations, including bone surgery, skin grafting and cesarean section.
The IEHKs kits contain a standardized set of medicines and medical supplies. This kit can be used in situation of supply disruption and provide emergency medical care of up to 10,000 people for 3 months.
IEHK kits include:
- medicines, incl. antibiotics, eye ointments, vitamins, painkillers, insulin, and antiallergic drugs;
- medical devices and equipment, incl. catheters, forceps, stethoscopes, thermometers and blood pressure monitors;
- general supplies such as aprons, bandages, cannulas, tourniquets, and syringes.
